Experience Overview
When you think of Warburton, most people assume you're talking about the Red Wood Forest. Don't get us wrong, we love exploring that magical part of the world but there is so much more to the Warburton region. Starting with a 6km through towering Mountain Ash and Silver Wattle, the trail weaves it way through stunning rain forrest and old relics from the timber town's mill. Returning through the village we'll enjoy morning tea at picnic spot and drive 10 minutes up the road to our next trail. Prepare yourself for some big sky views that will take your breath away after a gentle 2km stroll up to one of Melbourne's best kept secrets. With a hike distance of approximately 8kms, this trail will get the heart rate going in some sections but with the right support and guidance we think it’s achievable for most levels of fitness.

If you want to avoid the crowds at some of Melbourne's more popular trails, this is one of our favourite hikes that finishes with one of the best views going round.
Adventurer Experience
If you're exercising a few times each week this is a great way to get outside with hiking distances of 8kms to 11kms. There will be some tough sections to get the heart rate going but we'll support you all the way.

Trip Itinerary
8:00 AM - Transport Pick Up
If you’ve upgraded to include luxury 4×4 transfers we meet a few minutes from Melbourne’s CBD in Northcote.
9:30 AM - Arrive at Location
All guests to meet at Powell Town trail head for welcome and briefing ready for our award-winning guided hiking experience.
11:00 AM - Morning Tea
A delicious selection of healthy Slices and Protein Balls from our friends at ‘Little Local’ cafe accompanied by Fresh Fruit.
12:30 PM - Gourmet Lunch
Returning back to the Meeting location for gourmet Sandwiches from ‘Little Local’ and a toast with your choice of Champagne or Craft Beer to celebrate your hike.
1:30 PM - Return to Melbourne
Guests with Get Outside luxury 4×4 transfers return to Melbourne and self-drivers return home.
